Viva la Verve April - Week 3

I'm a little behind on my Week 3 posting, but here it is.

This card is has a little more modern feel than the previous two. For some reason the sketch stumped me a little, and it took me a while to decide on those horizontal elements, but once I settled on the sentiment and the arrows it came together really quickly.

The 'U' and arrows were cut using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge, and the sentiment is another one from the Blue Skies set. It actually says You Make Me Smile, but since I already had the 'U', I just masked it with a little bit of tape when I was inking it up, and removed the tape for stamping.

The little heart was easy to make. I cut a small heart with white cardstock and applied some adhesive around the edges. Then I just laid the twine on top of that and adhered the whole thing to the arrow.

I'm hoping to have Week 4 done and posted tomorrow.

Hope you are enjoying the weekend!
