Heartfelt with La Belle Vie

Sharing a card using one of the new paper packs, La Belle Vie. This is what the full size papers look like (they are 12x12 papers, I'm not sure why my image is squished....gotta figure out how to fix that).

I used a 1" punch to cut the squares, inked the edges with a sponge dauber, and then adhered them to a 4"x4" piece of cardstock.

I added some Antiqued Copper brads for accents.

The sentiment is from the Say it in Style stamp set, and that bit of twill was actually salvaged from a package of canvas bags that I bought at the craft store (it was used to tie them together). I stamped the sentiment in several times to get a deep color (one of the many reasons I love clear stamps).

Supplies Used
Paper/Cardstock: CTMH - La Belle Vie papers, Colonial White and Desert Sand cardstock
Stamps: Say it in Style
Ink: Smokey Plum
Other: CTMH - Sponge Daubers, Paper Piercer, Antiqued Copper Brads; Tombow Mono Adhesive; 3L - Dodz

  2. That is the sweetest card! I love the patterned paper and the way you put the patterns together. The stamping on the ribbon is cool! When I've tried that, it looks so messy--yours is perfect!
