Last NSD Post

Here are my last NSD projects:  a double pager and a card.

The double page layout is for the challenge sponsored by Technique Tuesday.  The challenge was to use stamping on your layout.  I'm kind of notorious for having multiple projects going at a time, and it's especially bad when it comes to scrapbooking.  I had laid out these pages months ago, but never got around to fully completing them til now.  It's a pretty simple layout, I added some stamping with white pigment ink using Uniko Studio's Background Builders: Round in Circles set.

Finally a card for Studio Calico's Masking challenge.  For this one I used the large 12x12 sunburst mask.  I added color with a sponge dauber and then rotated the mask slightly around the center point and added more color. The stamps are from There She Goes' Cutie Pi set.

I'm so happy with all that I was able to get done during NSD.  10 pages in a week is a record for me!

  1. Beautifully done, Miriam! Double pager layout is always intimidating to me! I love how you used the darker background for the photos. the Background Builder adds a lovely touch! Awesome effect with the masking--superb job!

  2. What an adorable little skater! AND, holy cow I love your masking!!! It's really something to stare at. So smart to leave the center white, like it's the brightest light. LOVE it!!

  3. Love your masking, Miriam! Such a fun card. Wonderful layout too. You had a productive NSD. :)

  4. Great photos on the layout. I loved ice skating as a little one especially with my parents :)

That card is fabulous! I love the range of colors and the circling sentiment. Great design!

  5. The layouts are just like the kind you'd find in magazines - superb! And I love the little card too with all those graduating shades! Just stunning!!
