Merry Christmas Trees

I'm starting to send out my Christmas cards, and as luck would have it, I haven't stockpiled enough to finish them off, so I'm simultaneously working on manufacturing new ones.  I'm not feeling like heavy duty mass production this year, but making a few cards in series is definitely OK.

I've been wanting to use this tree image from the Essentials by Ellen Christmas Scirbbles set.  All three cards are watercolored.

The first two are embossed in gold and then white and watercolored with distress markers and a waterbrush.  The last was just stamped with Versafine and then watercolored with Inktense pencils.

The sentiment is from the Essentials by Ellen's Merry & Bright set.

Which is your favorite?

I'm going to link this up over at Simon Says Stamp since it's a holiday challenge this week.

  1. I couldn't pick a favourite! They are all lovely! Mass production is tedious but you're right; a few of a design are easy to handle. :)

  2. These are so beautiful! Simple yet so sophisticated! I am partial to the gold (festive) and white (snow) Christmas tree! I am a procrastinator and find that I NEED to move fast for sending out my cards...

  3. I just love this whimsical tree, especially when watercoloured. I do like the tree embossed and I prefer the white embossing, it has a light and happy feel to it.
