Neat & Tangled March Release - Day 3

Hey everyone!  Hope you have been enjoying the release so far!

Today I'm thrilled to be sharing my very first coverplate!  I love coverplate dies and I really think this is one that you'll reach for again and again.  It's kind of a geometric/graphic version of ombre.  And while creating it makes creating bold and modern backgrounds a snap, it can also be subtle and elegant.

This die can almost make a card by itself.  This one took MAYBE 15 minutes which is probably a record for me, and half that time I was trying to decide which die cut pieces to use.

We're also revealing a new set from Cynthia Renard called Paris.  Cynthia's illustrations are so sweet aren't they?

I wanted to show you how versatile the little girl is.  I masked off the tower on her head and then used a thin journaling pen to draw in the top of her head and hair.  Then I colored her with Copics and added/colored the flowers.

For the little tab I just traced around an Elle's Studio tabbed journaling card and then stamped the sentiment and stitched it on.

OK, be sure to head over to the N&T blog to check out the rest of the DT projects and enter to win this cute stamp set, and remember that all comments left on my Release Week posts will go into the draw for a new Dala Horse/Scandinavian Flowers stamp set.
