Jane's Doodles Spotlight Blog Hop

Hey everyone!  Today the Jane's Doodles team, and a special guest, are spotlighting our two newest stamp sets, Mom and Spring Blessings.

I was in the mood to watercolor, so all my cards today feature watercoloring.

This first card uses one of the tulips from Spring Blessings.  I stamped it three times using Antique Linen Distress Ink, varying the height of the flower each time, and then I used the no line watercoloring technique.

I kept things pretty simple, and added a bit of a shaded background around the flowers before stamping the sentiment.

Next I wanted to play with the wreath from the Mom set.  It's so versatile, and although I'm showcasing a Mom sentiment here, you could use this for thank you, just because, birthday, really any occasion.

I thought I would do this one two ways.  The first is very soft and delicate.  The wreath was clear embossed and I used Distress Markers and a waterbrush to color in the images.

The second version is embossed in gold, and I used bolder colors Distress Marker colors this time.

Every hop must have prizes, right?  Well one lucky commenter will win both these new sets.  Be sure to make your way through to be in the draw.

AND everyone is a winner because Jane is running a Mother's Day sale all weekend, 30% off all sets, so if you've been eyeing something, now is a great time to pick it up!

OK, that's all for me today.  Your next stop is Aga, but I have the full list below.
