MFT Color Challenge #21

Time for another color challenge!

I kind of feel like I cheated on this one, but I really do like the look of color blocking and these colors really seemed to lend themselves to it.

Pretty simple.  I just cut four strips of color, the top and the bottom were cut a little thicker since  knew I was going to use the stitched rectangle to trim it down.  Then I die cut an oval from the center of the color blocked panel to create the window.

One of the flowers from the Wildflowers stencil was added to a white panel of paper using gold embossing paste.  After it had set, the panel was adhered to the card base and the color blocked piece was added using foam tape.

The sentiment was embossed on the curved banner which was then adhered using two layers of foam tape.

For some extra oomph, I added some black splatter and gold sequins.

OK, that's all for me today.  Please stop by the blog to see what the other ladies created.
