Let Us Gather and Give Thanks

I'm sharing this card over on the Neat & Tangled blog today featuring the Birch Leaf stamp set.

The shape of this leaf is perfect for stamping a medallion type pattern, which was exactly what I did here.  I wasn't trying to be overly precise and stamped it by hand vice with a MISTI or alignment guide.

The leaves were then colored with Copics.  No shading, just straight coloring using 7-8 fall shades.  I did color the leaves in the exact same manner though, the same spaces are red/yellow/orange on each of the leaves.  In the negative spaces I colored in a dark brown.

For a bit of sparkle and interest, I went over my lightest shade of yellow with a gold Wink of Stella pen.

The sentiment is also from the same set, and was stamped and embossed in gold and popped up over a cardstock mat that I embossed in gold as well.

This is a really easy card to create.  It's a little time consuming to color all the spaces, but it's not 'thinking' coloring, and I love the stained glass look you get.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
