MFT Color Challenge 33
We've got a new color challenge for you this week at MFT.
I took the opportunity to use the new Diagonal Quilt Square Cover-Up.
The great thing about using cover ups like this is that if you're going to die cut multiple colors, you can basically make multiple cards, which is what I did here because I need more Christmas cards.
My 'official' card stays pretty true to the traditional quilt aesthetic. I added a simple greeting from Hand Lettered Holidays.
Then I started playing a bit more with the pieces of the quilt. These next too cards give a more modern vibe.
On this last card I also popped up the Steel Grey pieces for some added dimension.
In creating all these cards I used the 'webbing' of one of the cuts as a guide when adhering the pieces.
That's it for me today, be sure to head over to the blog to see the rest of the team's projects!
These are all awesome...great color combo!
