Here's another one of the projects I worked on on the plane last month.
I love this Altenew stamp set, and I thought the portions of the flowers with more details were perfect as guidelines for stitching.
I wanted a full look to the stitching, almost like crewel. This takes a bit more time and you have to think a little more about where to place your stitches, but I really love the overall effect.
I thought about doing some additional stitching in the other petals, but opted for the more minimalist approach.
A bit of copic coloring in the center of the flowers finished this off.

ReplyDeleteI'm SO impressed with this card! When I was a little girl I loved doing embroidery and crewel stitching and I absolutely LOVE how you added just the perfect amount of stitching to enhance your card! Absolutely WONDERFUL!
