This is from a while back. I was just playing around with some products and mixed a bit of acrylic paint with some paste, using that with the 6x6 Rose stencil from The Crafter's Workshop.
For some extra texture I stamped a woodgrain background over it once dry. It wasn't an even stamping, I just wanted a bit more interest.
I added a simple sentiment from My Favorite Things to finish it off.
I love the mix of textures and the pop of color from the paint.
Hope that you have a great end to your week! I've got a fun post to share tomorrow, so swing back!

Fantastic look you achieved. I super dig the variegated look. And of course, you had me with this color. :) I have many a cards that need to be assembled. Why is that? Regardless, you're inspiring me :)

ReplyDeleteAwesome card with wonderful texture! So artsy looking....love it!!!
ReplyDeleteOh my GOSH ... you have a smiling face in your card!! The two big eyes (with eyebrows and maybe bags underneath), the crescent nose, and then it looks like you put the sentiment right over the smile. Too funny!! Awesome color, and the spotty woodgrain stamp is a perfect addition.
ReplyDeleteThis is simply amazing. Just love your fabulous card, what an incredible design.
ReplyDeleteStunning!! It looks like pattern paper, not texture paint!!! Love it!!
