Neat & Tangled January Release Day 1 & Giveaways

Happy New Year!

We're kicking the new year off right away at Neat & Tangled with our January release.  Today we're showing off two of my new products the Maze die and A-Mazing stamp set.

This one was really fun to design, so much fun I ended up making three cards to share.  Take a look:

The first card is pretty simple, I used the die to create an enclosed channel.  If you had a little ball/bead you could use it in there, I opted to go with a sequin.

I cut the maze five times.  Four were adhered together and then to my patterned paper base.  I dropped the little red sequin in, and then adhered a piece of transparency over top of the maze.

The final die cut was stamped with the sentiment and then adhered on top.

This next card is more interactive.  The channels are set far enough apart so that it can be used a bit like a spinner, although because there are so many corners it sometimes needs help moving through the channels.  My girls had fun moving the little mouse through the maze though - it's perfect for kids!  You do have to cut your dimensional adhesive quite narrow and center it in the channels.

The little mouse is from the Kitty's Favorite Things stamp set.  Elena usually throws a little critter into her sets, so there are lots to choose from to use for the maze.  There is also a little heart included with the maze die as well as a small circle that you can use as the base for whatever element you want to add to the maze.

My final card uses the maze a little differently, more like a bit of ephemera.  I paired it with some patterned paper as well as chipboard polaroid frame, and then added a couple of fish (one from Kitty's Favorite Things and the other from Mermazing).

OK, that's all I have to share today, but you definitely want to head over to the Neat & Tangled blog to check out the rest of the team's projects.  I think you're going to love what you see!  Leave a comment there to be entered to win a set for yourself.

I'm also hosting some giveaways this week.  Leave a comment here to be entered to win.  You'll also want to head over to my instagram account (@mprantner) for some additional chances to win.

See you back here tomorrow for more release fun!

  21. These are all so adorable!! I love the patterned paper on the first! That little mouse moving along the maze would be so fun for kids and adults alike, and I like how you used the maze die cut as more of a layer on the third card--great way to think outside the box.

  27. A-mazing, Miriam! I didn't realize how fun mazes could be until my 5 year old nephew showed the fabulous mazes book he received from Santa! Very challenging and incredibly fun (he's far better at navigating them than I am!). This set would be perfect to make cards for - and with him! Your showcases are absolute delights! Adding this to my must have list!
