Hey everyone! I've got a rare Saturday post for you, a couple more MFT/Simple Stories cards for our collaboration week.
This first card features the Summer Vibes Bits & Pieces and a sentiment from True Friends.
I love the ephemera in the Bits & Pieces pack and picked out a few elements to frame the sentiment. I added a bit of doily and some stitching to place the jar on, and then sentiment was stamped and embossed with Liquid Platinum embossing powder.
It's a little hard to see in the first photo, but in real life the shine looks great against that woodgrain paper from the Summer Vibes 6x6 pad.
This next card features one of the cards from the Fresh SN@P pack. I'm not quite sure how I came up with this idea since it's a little unorthodox, but I think it's because I had the stamps out or close by and the idea just came to me. If you have a pet, you have probably experienced moments such as this, when your lovable pet looks right at you and then does something totally wrong.
The dog and bed were colored with Copics and I added a few Sequins to add some sparkle and movement to the card. The red tone on tone paper is actually another of the Journaling cards from the Fresh SN@P pack.
OK, that's all for me today, and this is the last day of our collaboration with Simple Stories. Don't forget to visit their blog as well as the MFT blog to see all the projects for this week and to enter to win some great prizes!
