Neat & Tangled Release Live and Giveaway Winners

Hey everyone!

The Neat & Tangled release is now live in the store!

I was having so much fun with the Hexastar coverplate that I decided to whip up another card.

Very bold and graphic, but easy to put together.  I cut the plate from black cardstock and then mounted it on a white panel.  Then I just went in and reinserted every other triangle.  I love what a different look this gives.

For the sentiment I used the happy from Happy Holidays dies and the secondary sentiment comes from the Photo Booth set.

OK, how about some winners?

The winner of the Scandinavian Prints set is....

Kim Heggins!!!!

And the winner of the Hexastar cover plate is...

Oliev!!!!

Congratulations!

Please shoot me an email with your address and I'll get these right out to you.

Neat & Tangled Release Week - Hexastar Giveaway

Hey everyone!

Thanks for all the wonderful comments yesterday.  I'm thrilled that you are loving Scandinavian Prints and I hope today's reveal is just as exciting to you.

I've got a new cover plate today, Hexastar, that I'm so excited about.  I really love cover plates, and I love geometric designs.  This one has lots of details, but not so many details, or itty bitty spaces as to be too much of a pain to deal with.

For today's cards I was in a spring mood and selected three very similar colors to create a monochromatic background (PTI Spring Moss and Limeade Ice and Bazzill Card Shoppe Juicy Pear).

For the first card I followed the hexagon shapes, varying the color as I went.  Then I added a simple sentiment pairing used Painted Hello and one of the secondary sentiments from Oh Hello.  A few clear sequins finished it off.

Since I had all those extra pieces, I went ahead and whipped up another card.  This time I placed them in a grid of triangles as opposed to using the hexagons as the guide, although it's a little hard to see since the colors are quite close. That is one of my favorite things about this cover plate, there are so many ways to combine the shapes to create geometric patterns/shapes.

I stayed very CAS on the second card, just adding my You Can Do Anything die to finish it off.

Would you like to win a die?  I've got one up for grabs.  Just leave a comment here and then be sure to head over to the Neat & Tangled blog too.  You definitely want to see what the team created as well as check out today's other reveal.  As an added bonus, you can enter to win a die there too!
