On Your Special Day

I really love the large heart doily die from Clear & Simple Stamps.  It's so delicate and detailed and pretty.  For this card I embossed it on a panel of cardstock which was then trimmed down to create the top panel.

The doily was cut a second time using woodgrain patterned paper.  Then I used a glue pen to adhere selected negative cuts (the larger ones) to create the pattern.

The embossed sentiment is from WPlus9's Fresh Cut Florals.

That's it for me today, short and sweet.  Working on the girls' valentines, which I'll share next week.  Ellie's were quick and easy, and Carina's I'm still concepting.

Have a great weekend!
