Playdate at the Park Layout

****I'm on VACATION!!!! While I'm away, I have some art and non-art posts scheduled. I'm so glad you are stopping by to visit, and as always, I appreciate your comments, but I'll be a little slower to respond than normal.*****

This is a take another take on the technique I shared the other day: spraying reinker/water mixture on acrylic blocks to create your own paper. (Sorry the photo is a little crooked.)

I used a 3x3 block and topiary reinker to create the series of squares for the grid pattern (the pattern actually reminds me a little of camouflage). This was a really simple layout to put together, and I added some additional stamping using the stamp set from the Rock a Block campaign from earlier this year.

Grids are fun because you can use them to showcase a lot of photos, or a few. There's plenty of space for journaling, as well as to show off papers you create or have in your stash, and grid layouts just seem to come together more quickly than free form layouts.

Hope you had a great week, and are enjoying your weekend!

Supplies Used
Paper/Cardstock: White Daisy, Topiary, and Pacifica cardstock
Stamps: Rock the Block campaign stamp set, Cocktail Alphabet; A Typeface
