Teacher Gift Sets

****I'm on VACATION!!!! While I'm away, I have some art and non-art posts scheduled. I'm so glad you are stopping by to visit, and as always, I appreciate your comments, but I'll be a little slower to respond than normal.*****

This year to thank the girls' teachers, I created some fast and easy card sets. Each of the girls has four teachers - a main teacher and several helpers, so I really needed to keep things simple.

The first set uses the A Tulip stamp set. The set is only $5.95. It comes with the 'You're Special' sentiment which I'm using on some of the cards, but I wanted to make it an All Occasion set, so I picked out a couple sentiments from Say it In Style as well. Say it in Style is a great investment - it has sentiments for all occasions and I often find myself pulling it out to finish off a card.

For the A Tulip flowers, the flower itself is stamped in Tulip (ironic, no?) and cut out. I used Garden Green for the stem/leaves, stamp that and then adhere the tulip top.

The little box is made from Desert Sand cardstock, and I added the scalloped border (also from the A Tulip set) as well as some of the Color Ready Seam binding to finish it off.

The second set of cards uses the retired You & Me stamp set, and this one is SO easy, you could literally churn out a hundred in an hour. I used Twilight ink. The flourish in the back is stamped in second generation and the fleur de lis in first generation. Sentiment from Say it in Style.

Supplies Used
Paper/Cardstock: White Daisy Bulk cards/envelopes; White Daisy, and Desert Sand cardstock
Stamps: A Tulip, You & Me, Say it in Style
Ink: Tulip, Garden Green, Twilight
Other: Color Ready Seam Binding, Bonding Memories Adhesive
