She posted her first four blogged cards and challenged us to do the same.
I was a little nervous about posting those because I remember my first cards as being pretty experimental, but here they are.....
Well, at least I can say I've been making some progress...all of these cards were based on sketches, and while I love a good sketch, I"m definitely not so reliant on them anymore. And, while it's still a bit of a struggle, photos are much better these days.
Thanks for coming by and....if you dare.....link up your first four cards too!
Ha! What a fun thing to do! Love your CAS style which hasn't changed much, huh? I don't know if I'm brave enough to do that....must go through the archives!
ReplyDeleteYou're too funny. I'm always nervous to look back at my cards too. But you're ok...you've made great cards since the start looks like ;0)

Wow, I am really loving this look back in time because I'm often intimidated by the projects that bloggers I follow post online. It's so good to know that everyone had to start somewhere, and that improvement is part of the process. Of course, much has to do more with current styles rather than expertise and talent. And even more than that, is the enjoyment of crafting that shows through. Love your photo cards!!!
ReplyDeleteNice to get a peek at your cards because i see your name as a big winner in many of the giveaways I enter! You're almost like a celebrity to me...(smile)!
I just came from Amy's blog! I want to do this too.
ReplyDeleteI love & hate looking back!
These are soooooooooo fun!!! Loving that Amy is challenging us to look back at our older creations!!!
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome Miriam...I love that you include photos in your card...they are mini layout keepsakes for the recipients.
ReplyDeleteI so love reading the comments and really enjoyed reading Karenladd's comment...isn't that the truth...we all gotta start somewhere....
thanks so much for linking up Miriam and thanks for all your bloggie love and support!
How fun to see your first card and page!! You already had the sweet style in you and these first few projects really show that! Thanks for sharing, Miriam!
