Hold the Phone!

Most of my scrapbooking lately has been for challenges, but today I wanted to scrap just for fun.  Sorry about the photo, I'm still trying to figure out a good way to photograph double page layouts.

These photos are from Carina's birthday, we were getting ready to put her to bed and she got my phone.  It was one of those moments you save....when you flash to how little she was only a couple years before, and see how her personality has grown and blossomed.  That photo on the right is one of my favorites.  We see that look a lot.  It's the look that comes when she's thinking about doing something she knows she probably shouldn't do.

I started out with the May Hello Moments kit from Polka Dot Whimsy which included that great Dear Lizzy mason jar print, the EP tape measure strips, and those blue strips which are Bazzill Vintage Market place.

The pinkish purplish paper up top is some old Sassafras, and the lavender doilies are from Curtsey Boutique.

The sequins and seam binding were also from Polka Dot Whimsy, and the stickpin was from my stash.

Have a great evening!

Supplies Used

Polka Dot Whimsy - May Hello Moments Kit
Other:  Curtsey Boutique - Lavender doilies; Sassafras - Blue Linen alpha stickers and Sweetly Smitten Pen Pals paper; CTMH - Liquid Glass and Dimensional Foam Tape; Tombow - Mono Adhesive

  14. I've been meaning to leave a comment for this since you put it up! I'm finally making the rounds today... I think this layout is beautiful! I am a sucker for photos in a line all the way across a layout and I like it even more across two pages! My favorite though is the sequins! I'm so glad you added the detail shot because wow! those jars are amazing!
