Artful Delight Friday - Believe in your dreams
This month's kit includes some Teresa Collins Summer Stories glittered papers including this gorgeous damask piece. The glittered pattern is supposed to be the vertical edge of the paper, but I think that on it's side it resembles florals/foliage.
I love the look of glittered paper, but it is a huge mess. My solution: Modge Podge. Since it dries clear, you still get all that great glitter, but once you paint the modge podge on, it traps the glitter and no more mess!
The butterfly was embossed in gold on vellum and then colored on the back side. I stamped two so that I could great a 'whole' dimensional butterfly. I added some glitter accents and painted the wings with Modge Podge too.
Have a great end to your week and a wonderful weekend!
Supplies Used: Artful Delight July Card Kit; CTMH - Gold embossing powder and Liquid Glass; Modge Podge (matte); Tombow - Mono and Vellum Adhesive; Spectrum Noir markers; American Crafts - Wow Ultrafine Glitter in Copper
