Christmas in July - Decorate Your Holidays With Happiness

Thought I would share a Christmas card with you today.  This was one that I had submitted a while back for Stamping Royalty.

The ornament is from Flourishes' Peace & Joy set.  I embossed the ornament in black on vellum and colored it on the backside of the vellum using Spectrum Noir markers.  Then I fussy cut the ornament, threaded and threaded some black string through the top.

I stamped the ornament again on the card and adhered the vellum ornament over top.

The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set.  I stamped a portion of it with regular ink and embossed the Happiness portion of it.

For the bottom portion, I used a strip of Target washi layered with a strip of cardstock embossed in black.  To get that really thick layer/sheen, I embossed it twice in black.

I'm linking up to Simon Says Stamp since it's Anything Goes week.

Hope your week is off to a good start!
