Warm Wishes - WPlus9 Mood Board and SSS CAS challenges
I'm playing along with the WPlus9 Mood Board again today.
I loved the kraft, white ink, and the soft blue colors from the mood board and this is what I came up with.
I used one of my first WPlus9 sets: Hope Seed Co. The frame was stamped on cardstock and then fussy cut. I used a pencil to mark the inside of the frame on my base and then stamped the flower image inside. The flower was colored using a water brush and Twilight and Olive inks. I love this technique. It's so forgiving. You really don't have to be an artist, and it still looks great.
I stamped the sentiment just above the flower image and the banner on a separate piece of cardstock and fussy cut it.
The frame was mounted with one layer of foam tape and the banner with two layers.
I tried some different trims on the bottom. I wanted white, but they all looked too bright, so I ended up coloring some kraft cardstock with my white inkpad and then cutting off a thin strip. The cord is Lawn Fawn.
Pretty CAS, so I'm linking this up with this week's challenge at Simon Says Stamp also.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
