Joyful Greetings
Continuing to plod along with a few Christmas Cards here and there.
This one is so easy to do and you could definitely mass produce them. I punched a bunch of squares using BG's 25th and Pine 6x6 pad, tacked them down with adhesive and then stitched over them. I wasn't careful to line them up perfectly, I like there to be an organic feel to my 'quilted' cards, and you'll see that the stitching is varied too in terms of how far across it goes, and where on the row of squares it appears.
The sentiment is a Paper Smooches die cut.
Totally easy and a perfect card for your holiday scraps too.
One last plug today. If you haven't voted yet, you still have until noon MT (2 PM EST) to put your vote in for Gallery Idol. Just click on that link at the top of my sidebar, I'd love to make it to the next round. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteI don't know how you always succeed to turn classic ideas in a new, innovative and stunning way! this card makes no exception, and I love it! I think it's because of the stitching that is neither in the center neither always on the top, maybe?
ReplyDeleteSuch a great idea for using up paper scraps! I like how it also looks like a present. ;)
