Happy Birthday for Jane's Doodles

Hey everyone!

Sharing a card that was featured on the Jane's Doodles blog last week.

This is actually a retired set, but Jane is bringing it back as a digi, and she's going to be release a 'second edition' of this set.  Can't wait as I love these wonky cakes.

The cakes are colored with Copics, and then I cut up a doily into just a little less than two full halves.  Those were tacked in place with a little adhesive and then stitched onto the panel.

The sentiment was stamped right on top of the doily with Versafine.  The stamping wasn't perfect, but I used one of my secret weapons, and ultra fine Sharpie marker.  This marker has saved me plenty of times.  It's very thin, and gives you lots of control, so if ever I have a line that didn't stamp quite right, or a solid black image isn't totally solid, ultra fine Sharpie saves the day.

I finished the card off with a few sequins from Neat & Tangled.

Supplies Used
Paper/Cardstock:  CTMH - White Daisy cardstock; Bazzill -
Stamps:  Jane's Doodles - Party Time
Ink:  MFT - Hybrid Black Ink; Versafine
Other:  Copics, Curtsey Boutique - Doily ; Neat & Tangled - Magenta sequins; CTMH - Liquid Glass; Tombow - Mono Adhesive
