Hooray for Release Week at Neat & Tangled!
I think I probably say this every time, but I'm so excited about this release! I've got two stamp sets and two dies being revealed, which I think you'll love, but really, I think you're going to love the whole release. It is jam-packed and full of unique things.
So let's get right to it. If you follow me on Facebook and Instagram you'll recognize the above photo that I snuck last week. Today we're highlighting one of my new items, Hoop Die, and the sweetest set from Danielle, Pretty Mail, which is the You're So Neat incentive stamp for the next couple months (free with a purchase of $50).
Danielle is also revealing a couple new sequin mixes today as well as the fact that Neat & Tangled is now carrying the full line of Lucy's Little Things Shaker Mixes.
And here's my full card:
I started by cutting the hoop die from Primitive White cardstock and plain white cardstock as well as a wood veneer sheet. I also cut the hoop closure pieces from gold cardstock. The plain white cardstock pieces were used as a base. I trimmed off the closure pieces off of the wood veneer cut and then adhered the remaining circle piece and the gold pieces to the base.
The floral images from Pretty Mail were stamped onto the Primitive White inner circle piece. I colored them with Inktense pencils and then used a waterbrush to activate the color and smooth it out. The sentiment is from Paper Cut Flowers.
To maintain the right dimension, i.e. have the inner part of the hoop sit flush with the hoop, I adhered the stamped piece to the extra white circle and then adhered both hoop parts to a cardstock mat.
I added some stamped/colored leaves to the corners of the mat and then adhered it to the card base.
Finally, I added some of the little seed beads from Lucy's English Rose mix to accent the stamped images.
OK, I mentioned giveaways, right? I'll be drawing two winners from all comments left on my release week posts who will each win one of my new stamp sets. In addition, Danielle has giveaways each day on the Neat & Tangled blog too, so be sure to head over there, check out all the DT projects and leave a comment.

ReplyDeleteMiriam!! I love your hoop die design. You seem a bit young to be thinking of hoops, but they were a staple tool when I was a little girl. LOL Oh my....some 40+ years ago. Your card is lovely and the DT had so much fun using the hoop die too. Thanks, Paulette S.
