Neat & Tangled Release Week - Scandinavian Prints Giveaway
Hey everyone!
It's Release Week at Neat & Tangled! I've got a couple things in this release including today's reveal: Scandinavian Prints.
I love Scandinavian floral prints, they can be very pretty as well as very graphic, and I wanted to create a set that would allow you to easily create those types of prints.
What I also love about a lot of those prints is that they can be very imprecise. You don't have to be a master stamper to use this set, it's multi-step stamping made so easy!
I created a couple cards just to show off some of the background/print possibilities, both of them also feature the Better Together set designed by Elena Roussakis which debuted yesterday.
For this first card I did some partial die cutting to create the 'platform' that cute little girl is standing on. I embossed the sentiment on a strip of black cardstock which was adhered over top.
I used Altenew inks on both these, and they really came together very quickly.
I also created an idea sheet that shows you some different flower combinations. There really are so may possibilities with this set and I'm excited to see what folks create with it!
I mentioned a giveaway right? Leave a comment and I'll pick someone this weekend who will win this set. AND, Danielle is giving away a set on the Neat & Tangled blog too. Be sure to swing over there to enter to win!

ReplyDeleteLove love love the graphic design of this set! So versatile for crating backgrounds and focal points with sweet sentiments. Super cute girl and love all the flower combos on your beautiful cards!
ReplyDeleteoh my stars - those backgrounds are AWESOME!! the first one literally looks like patterned paper - wow!! and the blue and yellow together on the 2nd card ROCKS!!
ReplyDeleteThe flowers on the second card, the one with most of my favorite color, yellow, look so modern but 60's modern. You know the look I mean, very spacey, the clean lines and space age like the Jetsons. I love it! If I won I'd get that set and put my spin on it. The little girl with the stuffed owl is so adorable! When my niece & nephew were little (they are now 21 & 18) they were so sad that I had no one to sleep with, that I was all alone. They had tons of stuffed animals with them in bed. I'm not married so they gave me an adorable stuffed dog to sleep with. At first I thought I was to old to sleep with a stuffed animal but one night when it was cold I grabbed him and I've been sleeping with it ever since. This reminds me of me! I love both cards!
ReplyDeleteIt's a CAS, layered flower set! Awesome idea! I wouldn't have thought to put the large scale flowers as a background with the girl who's almost the same size, but it totally works!!
ReplyDeleteWow!! I LOVE this set!! oh the possibilities!! I love the backgrounds you created, so bold and graphic, LOVE!!
