A Note of Thanks
So I was cleaning up the craft area (which basically means I was moving stuff around in order to find other stuff), when I came across this panel that I created last month for Winnie & Walter's 2nd Birthday Bash. At the time, I couldn't find a W&W sentiment in my stash that I thought worked with it, so I ended up setting it aside and only now unearthed it.
The painted panel was based on the one in this inspiration photo that Taheerah supplied:
I just loved that painting and created the panel using a mix of Izink reindeers, Distress Paints, acrylic paint, and gesso. It was just an exercise in fun and I really wanted to make it the star of the show.
I just added a simple mat, and a sentiment from Papertrey's Happy Trails stamp set, and then popped up the painted panel.
Hope you had a great weekend! I'll be back tomorrow with a fun Neat & Tangled team up.

ReplyDeleteWhoah!! That is amazingly inspired, MP! VERY cool! This goes in your (often filled) category of WAY more than just a card. :)
ReplyDeleteI also sadly relate to the "cleaning" part. I keep trying and I'm going to use the word "shifting" henceforth. :) :)
SO cool! This looks like something you would mass produce and sell in an upscale stationary store!!
