I love this stencil by Dyan Reaveley, and have been meaning to make something with it for months.
I finally pulled it out and used one of the techniques from my Craftsy class where you trace it and color it with Copics.
In the negative areas I used a black marker to color the spaces. I thought about using my cutting knife in those sections, but the pattern was a little more complicated, so I thought marker was the way to go.
I did cut around the flowers and leaves on the bottom edge and then popped the entire panel up for dramatic effect. The sentiment is from Ellen Hutson's Mondo Hydrangea set, and a bit of gold cardstock finishes it off.
That's all for me today, hope your week is going well!
