Blessed Christmas
How about another Christmas card? I've been making about one a month...at some point I'm going to have to pick up the pace, but it's nice to slip a few in before crunch time.
This one is pretty simple. I stamped the image from my Winter Trees set on some MFT Smooth White cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored the image with Copics.
I wanted to cut out a tag with my Classic Tag die, but not surprisingly (because I have trouble putting things away) I couldn't find it, so, I ended up just rounding the top corners and punching a hole in the top. I added a bit of twine and then popped the tag up over some patterned paper. The sentiment is from the Bright Baubles set.
OK, so my goal for the rest of the year is to make at least one more Christmas card than I did the month before. That way I should (hopefully) have the majority of my cards done before December. Let's see how I do....

ReplyDeleteI do like those trees--a lot!! Good luck on your pace! You are stronger than me, by far. I can't even think of such yet, let alone make them all by hand. I love the idea though, so if I were committed, I'd def take your approach! :)
ReplyDeleteI admire you for tackling this goal every year. I have so little faith in myself to finish, that I don't even start. LOL! Yes, a few people do received handmade, Christmas creations, mostly family, but the majority get a photo card in the mail. Love the pairing here of the tree paper and the image itself. So festive!
ReplyDeleteLove the color and contrast in your trees - completely and totally a TREErific card!!
