Merry & Bright Ornament
I can't believe that Thanksgiving is this week! I still have a lot to do in the Christmas card department, but they are coming along, as is the Christmas shopping. And I have everything I need for Thanksgiving dinner, except for the French Cut Green Beans. Why are those so hard to find? But I digress.
I got to play with this Twinkle Towns set recently. It's one of those sets where you don't need much else, and you can kind of rachet a card up or down in terms of simplicity pretty easily.
I kept this one pretty simple, It's basically one layer, although I did add some faux snow and glitter for some extra texture and sparkle.
I also stamped the branch with my MISTI so I was able to add some extra dimension with multiple shades of ink to the greens.
A very simple, quick Copic coloring was added to the ornament itself and the branch.
The sentiment is from Mama Elephant's Polar Pals set and was curved to fit one of the little banners from my Scalloped dies set.
Looking forward to a short work week and pie on Thursday!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm trying to figure out how you did the snow on the branch...so cool! And I love the cityscape scene in the ornament.
ReplyDeleteoh, hahaha, I thought the pine branch was a die cut at first, but no that's just the shadow from your snow. How cool!
