Neat & Tangled July Release and Giveaways - Day 2



Welcome back for Day 2 of Neat & Tangled release week.  Today we're showing off a new set from Danielle called You're a Gem.  There are a variety of handlettered sentiments and a whole host of gemstone images.

I wanted to create a one layer card, and these gemstones are perfect for creating a simple, structured background.  I chose to use the square/cushion cut gemstone stamped on an angle, leaving an open space for the sentiment.




Some simple coloring, no shading involved, was all this needed.

    Love the font for the sentiments and this makes such a cool, graphic card when the gems are stamped like that. You must have a steady hand and good eye!!
