Spellbinders August Large Die of the Month

Hi folks!  I've got a couple cards today to share with you featuring Spellbinder's August Large Die of the Month.  I think this is my favorite kit to date from them!  The dies are perfect for back to school (their Small Die of the Month kit is also so fun and back to school themed this month).

For this card I used just two of the die pieces to create a whole series of colored pencils.  I love how realistic these dies are...down to the ridges on the sides of the pencils!  

Lots of die cutting for this one, but it was pretty easy to assemble it, and then I added a sentiment from Neat & Tangled's Paint Night set to finish it off.

My next card features the pencil again as well as a few paperclips and the scissors.  Again, I really love how true to life these die cut pieces look!

I paired my die cuts with some notebook patternd paper and a sentiment from Altenew's Teachers Rule set.  

I have a feeling these dies will get a lot of use as school is just around the corner!  And, I haven't even used all the dies in the kit yet - there's also a pen and clipboard dies, so you could definitely use this for office/work cards too.
