SSS Layered Hills, Take 2

So I still had these Layered Hills dies out after my last card, and I was looking at the shapes, and thought it would be fun to create a pattern with one of the hills.  I chose the smaller tall hill for this because I think the more dramatic curve lends itself to a more dramatic pattern.

I went with dark blue and black cardstock, and cut out a bunch of hills from each.  The pattern I'm using is really quite simple, just alternating the direction and color of the hills from one row to the next.  You can certainly make something a bit more complicated, but I love the simplicity of this.

Each of the shapes was adhered to a white panel, with a bit of daylight between.  The hill shape isn't quite symmetrical from side to side, so you can't bump them right up to one another, but I really like this look with the definition of the white lines between.

Once that was done, I trimmed the panel down, and then finished it with the Painted Thanks die, cut from silver mirrorboard, as well as a secondary sentiment from Altenew's Teachers Rule set.

Really simple and easy, but I love how bold and elegant the background turned out.

That's all for me today.  Thanks for stopping by!
