Today it's all about the metallics. You've seen me using the Matte Gold cardstock from Simon Says Stamp, but there is also Matte Silver, and I thought it would be fun to combine the two on this card.
I started by created a base panel by adding some simple watercolored stripes to a piece of watercolor paper. I used the Champagne Gold 904 paint from the Kuretake Gansai Tambi Starry Colors set.
Then, I die cut a series of snowflakes using the Aurora Snowflake and Harmony Snowflakes dies from both the Matte Gold and Silver cardstock. These were randomly adhered to my watercolored panel.
For the sentiment, I used the Large Joy die. The sentiment itself was cut from the Matte Gold, and the shadow piece was cut from the watercolor paper.
The piece was popped up over my panel, and I added a secondary sentiment from the XL Christmas Greetings set which was embossed in gold, die cut, and popped up.
Really Stunning card!!!! I love all the shine!!!!
