SSS Good Luck Charm, Clovers

I've got another St. Patrick's Day themed card to share today using the Simon Says Stamp Good Luck Charm release.

I used the Layering Clover stencil set to create my background.  I started with a panel of green cardstock, and stenciled the petal layer with Field Pawsitively Saturated Ink.  I added just a little bit of inking around the edges of the panel too.  This give the center of the card a bit of glow and dimension.

Next I spread gold embossing paste through the accent layer of the set and set it aside to dry.

I pulled out the Linking Lucky Clovers die for my focal point.  This die includes the detailed die as well as a shadow/base layer.  I die cut the base layer as well as one of the detailed layers from the same green cardstock that I used for the background.  I also die cut the detailed layer from Gold Matte cardstock.

I added some shading, again using that Field ink, to the edges of the shadow layer as well as the center of the green clovers.

The Gold Matte outline was then adhered to the shadow piece, and the clovers were inlaid inside.  The finished piece was popped up with foam tape.

To finish things off, I used one of the Reverse Lucky Sentiment Strips which was foiled using my Minc machine, popping it up over the clovers.

Lots and lots of fun metallic shine on this one!
