Happy Friday! Just popping in to share a quick card featuring the Let is Snow set from Simon's Cozy Hugs release.
This is a fun modern layering set. There is a main image/sentiment that says SNOW and then a smaller image, that I'm featuring, that creates a lone snow globe.
I stamped the snow globe background/sky using Cadette and Carnation inks. I started by inking up the bottom half of the image with Cadette and softening the edge with a blending brush. Then I added Carnation to the top portion, and again used a blending brush to soften the edge. To smooth the transition even more, I added a bit more ink with the blending brushes alternating between the Cadette and Carnation until I was happy with the coverage.
The next stamp layer was the nose and scarf. I inked each of those up separately using Sherbet for the nose and Royal for the scaf.
Finally, I a stamped the lined portions of the design. I used my neutral gray Copics to color the snow globe base as well as the hat, and then added a sentiment from the set to finish things off.
Super clean and simple and easy.
Have a great weekend!
