My Favorite Things Summer School - Monochromatic
If you didn't know, this week we're running the second session of Summer School over on the MFT blog.
This week is all about color, and today's lesson is monochromatic.
I thought I would join in the fun and pulled together this card featuring the Abstract cover up and some of my favorite MFT neutrals.
The coverup was cut from Grout Gray, Steel Gray and Black Licorice, and then the pieces were inlaid into the Grout Gray frame from light to dark.
I added a very simple die cut sentiment. I thought about glamming it up with some sequins, but ended up choosing to stay very CAS.
Please stop by the MFT blog to check out the full lesson.
AND there are prizes at stake. Each of the lessons this week has a link-up associated with it so you can play along. There are also $50 MFT vouchers at stake. You've got plenty of time to play along as the link-ups are open through July 24th, so I hope you will get your homework done!
