Neat & Tangled July Release - Day 5 - Last chance for giveaways
Today's the day! All of the new products are now live in the Neat & Tangled store! Today we're also highlighting a new stamp set from May Park, Woof, and a mini set called No Nuts.
This dog with a bib is my favorite image from the set. I stamped him on my cardstock panel and colored him with Copics. to create the illusion of depth, I used a craft knife to cut around the bottom portion of the bib and then slid that woodgrain paper beneath it.
The 'thankful' and 'you' sentiments are from the My Plate is Full set, and I added the dog dish is from Woof as well.
I created a couple very simple tags with the No Nuts stamp set. The nuts were stamped in second generation using MFT Hot Fudge Hybrid ink. They were colored with Kuretake watercolors and then the sentiments and circle with slash were stamped in first generation. Super quick and easy. This would be great to attach to a lunchbox for kids with nut allergies, or when giving a homemade treat.
I will say, having nephews with very severe peanut allergies, if you know someone is allergic, it's always best to check with them as to what the severity is. For those with very severe allergies, label reading is a necessity. It's amazing when I find out how many random ingredients are 'tainted'. For example, there was recently a concern with cumin and cross contamination during processing. Just a heads up, I know that parents with affected kids very much appreciate the extra effort!
Please stop by the Neat & Tangled blog to check out the rest of the team's projects. Remember, I'm picking two lucky commenters from all my release week posts this week. One will with the Faceted stamp set and the other will receive the You Can Do Anything die. Comments close tonight and I'll announce a winner over the weekend.
And if you're ready to shop, head on over to the store (if you win and you already purchased the stamp set/die you'll get a refund). Have a great weekend!
