Hi everyone! Today I'm sharing a cad using one of my favorites from Altenew, Beautiful Day. This is an older set, but definitely worth the investment. I normally use the bigger layered flowers, but today I thought I would focus on some of the smaller outline 'filler' images which are just as sweet and pretty.
The images were stamped with Gina K Black Amalgam ink. I wanted to add color, but I didn't want them to be fully colored if that makes sense. The images are a bit more sketchy and loose, and so I added hints of color rather than saturating the images with color.
The flowers were colored with V01, BV02, and BV13, and I used YG61 and YG63 for the leaves.

I wanted a bit of a bolder sentiment, so I pulled out Jane's Doodles You Got This set. I really love these sentiments as well as the size/font used. I find that I turn to this one a lot with florals, they just seem to pair nicely together. The sentiment was stamped with Versafine.
To add a bit more texture and some shine, I added some Heidi Swapp Gold Lame Color Shine splatters.
Another tip, when adhering my panel to my card base, I wanted the panel to be fully stuck, but I like when the edges aren't tight to the card base. This gives it a bit of dimension while still having a perfectly flat card for mailing. So, I use scor-tape to achieve the look, just a few strips in the center of the card, not all the way out to the edges.
