SSS Make Magic, Day 5

Hi!  I've got more Make Magic to share today.  You know it was just a matter of time before I got around to the Sexy Hexies dies. 

For today's card, I basically used just one of the hexagons in the set.  It has four 'rings' of hexagons.  I did use the solid hexagon as the base for my individual hexagons, but the focus is on those ringed hexagons.

I cut them many times using four different colors of cardstock, and then created four different versions of the hexagon.  

In addition to changing up the order of the colors, I also played with the height of hexagons.  Some of the rings had four layers stacked together, some three, some two, some one.

Once all the hexagons were complete, I assembled them on my card panel.

I love the dimension and texture this gives you from the varying heights.
