SSS DieCember, Foliage Circle

I've got a super simple card to share today using the Foliage Circle die from Simon's DieCember release.

I started by die cutting the Foliage Circle three times and then adhering each of them together.

Then I die cut a circle that was about a half in larger in diameter.

This circle was inked with Celery at the bottom and and Galaxy at the top.  The inking was very saturated at the top and bottom and then kind of fades out towards the center.

After placing my Foliage Circle piece over top, I decided that plain white was too stark a contrast, so I used those same ink colors to add some very subtle shading to the top and bottom of the die cut.

I then stamped the sentiment, from the Silhouette Sentiments set on the Foliage Circle, and adhered this to the larger inked circle.

This piece was then adhered to a pattered paper mat on my card base.

To add a bit of texture and interest, I added stitching around the larger inked circle.

Short and sweet today, thanks for stopping by!
