Hey everyone! I've got a quick card share today featuring the Layered Rosebud dies from the Simon Says Stamp Hugs release.
There are five pieces to the rosebud, but you only use four different colors. I opted to go with yellows, my two lighter colors are very close, so read similarly in the photos, but they are slightly different.
I assembled three different roses. For two, I used the lightest yellow for the outside layer. On the third, I used the darkest color for both the smallest and largest piece.
For the greens, I die cut two of the Privet Branch dies from a light green cardstock.
The flowers and leaves were arranged over a neutral woodgrain patterned paper. The leaves and darker rosebud were adhered directly to the mat while the lighter rosebuds were popped up with foam adhesive.
The sentiment is from the Reverse And Back Again sentiment strips and was also popped up.
Short and sweet.....I've got to get back to Christmas prep!
