Happy Friday! It's release day at Simon Says Stamp! There are so many fun things in the new Hugs release, but this Jumbled Hearts background is the one I couldn't wait to get inky.
I stamped the background on some Neenah Solar White cardstock with Gina K Black Amalgam ink, and then colored it with Copics using R29, YR68, Y08, G09, and B05 for the rainbow hearts, and R29, R43, and R35 for the pink hearts. I used N9 for the negative spaces.
Once the coloring was done, I placed my panel back into my stamping platform and inked it up again with black Versafine Clair to crisp up the inking.
The panel was trimmed down and mounted on a black card base.
The sentiment is from the XL Love Greetings set. It was embossed in white on a black panel, matted with some red cardstock, and then popped up over my colored background.
