SSS Out of This World Release

Happy Release Day!  The Simon Says Stamp Out of This World release is now available in the store.  This is a great release, I had so much fun creating with the products.  

Today's card features the Lava Lamp stencil set which creates such a cool background.  It consists of six stencils which is kind of perfect because if you don't want to think too hard about it (like me) you can just use two ink trios to complete the look.  I chose  the Lilac, Orchid, and Amethyst trio paired with the Melon, Cantaloupe, and Sherbet trio.

I was a tiny bit lazy in my lining up of the stencils, so there are a couple places where there's a bit of a gap between the colors, but it turned out to be a happy accident because I think that bit of white peeking through works well with the card, so I just went with it.

My panel was trimmed down, and I decided to pair it with the Sending Good Vibes die set since I think it has a very groovy, vibey feeling.

I die cut the sentiment itself from an orange cardstock and the shadow piece from white.  I very lightly inked the edges of the shadow piece with some Cantaloupe to soften it a little because it was feeling a bit too stark.

The finished sentiment piece was popped up with foam tape.
