We are fully into fall here in Northern Virginia, and I have a fall card to share today.
I'm using the Autumn Cascade stencil set, but rather than use it just for the Cascade, I inked, moved the stencil around, inked again, etc. to create a full background.
I started with a piece of gold colored cardstock, inking the solid leaves with Grapefruit and the accents with Mocha.
Once I was happy with the background, I added a bit of Grapefruit inking around the edges of my panel. I also added some gold accents using a very fine brush and some gold watercolor.
The completed panel was adhered to a dark brown mat and then attached to my card base.
The Hello Sweater Weather sentiment is an older one. It was cut from dark brown cardstock. To give it a bit of shine and height, I pressed my watermark ink pad over it, and then clear embossed it twice. This was then adhered to the shadow piece, a light orange cardstock which was inked a bit on the edges with Grapefruit, and then popped up with foam tape.
Hope you are enjoying fall in your part of the world!
