SSS Moments in Time Release, Bold Flower

Happy Thursday!  It's a release day at Simon Says Stamp.  I'm really excited about this Moments in Time release as I have several new products in the mix: Happy Cover and coordinating stamp, Poppy Pods, Snake Plant, Ribbon Quilt, and the Bold Flowers dies that I'm showing off today.

I love how just by switching up the colors you get totally different looks.  This really is the exact same card, but I went more subtle and traditional on the right and bold on the left.

I started by clear embossing the Thank You Text background onto my background panel.  I used three shades of yellow to create the flowers for the card on the right, along with black centers and light green petals. The flowers were all adhered to the background panel with foam tape, but I used one layer for the smaller flowers and two layers for the center flower.  The leaves were then nested around the flowers.

For the sentiment, I used the new Giggle Hello die, cutting the shadow piece from black and the sentiment itself from white.  This was popped up with two layers of foam tape.

For my bold card, I used hot pink, bright yellow, orange, and red for the the flower layers, mixing up the order from flower to flower.  I went with black for both the flower centers and leaves.  The placement on the card is essentially the same as the first card.

For the sentiment, I used red for the shadow and black for the sentiment itself.

Which do you like best?

Be sure to head over to Simon to check out the full release.  I'll see you back here tomorrow for a fun hop!
