Hey everyone! I have a super quick, super messy card to share today.
This Celebrate Rose Corner set is another of the gorgeous florals in the Simon Says Stamp Happy and Joyful release.
Apparently I'm still not in the mood to color my big floral images, but I still love them a lot.
For this card, all I did was emboss the image in white on some watercolor paper, and they spray it with a combination of Distress Stain (Lucky Clover) and Distress Mica Stain (Frosted Juniper, Winterberry, Peppermint Stick, and Holly Branch). Seriously. That's all.
I was probably moving too fast and should have given the panel a wee bit more time to dry/set, but I was anxious to put the card together. This resulted in some smudges that I then had to try and buff out with an eraser, which led so some more smudges, and more buffing, etc.
I finished things off with a sentiment from the And Back Again Reverse Sentiment Strips which was popped up with foam tape.
Loving how bold and impactful this is!
