Hi all, I've got a couple cards to share today featuring the new Vintage Mosaics set from the Out of This World release.
This first card is super easy. I am not a perfect stamper, the emergence of stamping platforms have made a huge difference in my stamping life. I rarely use stamping blocks anymore, but for this card I did. You don't have to work very hard to line things up, as the designs are not 'perfect' so quite forgiving.
I alternated stamping two of the blocks from the set on a white panel using Cadette ink.
I then added some yellow using my Y06 Copic marker, as well as a sentiment from the Healing Hugs set.
A yellow mat finished off this quick and simple card.
This next card was just a little a bit more involved.
For this card, I created faux tiles by embossing four of the images using Fired Brick, Peeled Paint, Fossilized Amber, and Broken China Distress Embossing Glazes. A bit of soft inking was added around the outsides of the squares using Fawn ink.
I then used a square punch to cut the tiles, punching out four extra squares so I could stack them for some height.
These squares were mounted on a larger kraft square which was then placed on my panel.
The sentiment is from the Friend Greetings set.
Thanks for swinging by!
